Through the window, a multitude of multicolored lights sparkle like thousands of precious stones, forming a ghostly constellation ... Child, I dreamed of the next trip already, the magic of the moment so fleeting ...

At each of her escapades, Grandmother found a new excuse. She was parking his long thin green car before the boarding gate. My companions were watching me leave class without knowing that my family obligations took me every time to a new adventure in one of these now obsolete palaces, where Grandma liked to relax.

During the day, I spent endless hours in pools with blue tiles of opalescent enamel. Diffractions water captivated me.

At dusk, when the sky was covered with a pink gray veil a little dusty, I joined her. I looked forward to the time when she would ask me to bring her her necklace. Her, so elegant in her long black dress, and that necklace of white beads, milky heavy, so mysterious and so perfect. Religiously I adjusted the magnificent diamond clasp on her neck. She thanked me with a mischievous wink, before taking my hand to go down the marble staircase ....

I did not know at that time that years later, her name would sound as a tribute to my creations : GRAY.
